A tiny tree can become...

Today I looked at our little tree in the apartment, it looked so small and fragile, like it couldn't hold it's own weight. As I thought about it I recognized myself in that little tree. I am small and fragile in comparison to the huge troubles we struggle with now. The world is bearing down on me and I can't lift my shoulders under the weight alone.

I need help.

I ask for the aid of others around me and the burden lightens a little. I seek for the support of truths I can see. Slowly, I start to feel the weight get lighter, but still not enough for me to feel relief. Before long I remember the most important source of help.

My Savior, Jesus Christ, and His love for me.

I turn to Him and find the greatest relief as the weight disappears and I can finally start to grow into the person I am meant to become as well as a tree can grow to tremendous heights and see its full potential. The burden now gone I see more of the world and more of my Heavenly Father's love for me and my Savior's strength helping me through the troubles of this world, giving me the help I need.

Stand tall and accept the love of the Lord and you can find yourself in just the right place you need to be.
