The measure of worth.

History has an odd way of either repeating itself or the current generation learning from it. When one does not either understand nor desire to know of what happened in the past then the repetition starts and can continue for years to centuries after the fact.

As we learn from past mistakes we are able to make changes, such as bettering technology. For thousands of years the fastest way to travel was by horse or other four legged travel. Now we have automobiles, trains and subways, great traveling ships, and even jet airplanes. By looking into the past and learning from mistakes and attempts the seemingly impossible now have occurred and are used on a regular basis.

Amazing how time flies and much has been developed and learned in about 200 years time. What started it all? My opinion is that God decided the time was right and inspired the right people. It's that simple.
