Life right now

Really, just looking out of a window and seeing the clouds getting pushed along by high-speed winds seems a little on the right side of my emotional status right now. Crazy enough to know something is happening, but still confused enough not to be sure on which way I am going. Even though that may seem frustrating and annoying to some I know many more people that have gone through much worse than I.

Many of my role models in life have had it tougher than I could ever dream up. They give the example necessary for me to keep trying and doing my best. If you could meet one of your role models who would it be?

I don't have to chose I have more than enough in my family. Both of my parents served missions and came home stronger and better for it. They have helped shape me and make me a stronger person. I could never thank them enough for their care and watchful love over my siblings and I. Mom taught me to like to read, when I hated the very thought before. Dad taught me never to give up on something I really loved. He showed me by example to persevere through the hard things and find the candy at the end (figuratively speaking, or occasionally literally).

My brother served his mission in Mexico. And we all know that is a harder place to be in general. He went for days with nothing to eat sometimes. I admire him for his courage and Stripling Warrior personality. He has provided me with advice that I would never give away. He has been a friend and an awesome role model.

My sister, though younger, has helped me learn how to show by example. How to be a friend when no other is there. She has been my friend in return. She has been willing to give up what may seem like a huge thing to her to try something different. She has the determination to see something through, while the excitable nature to try different things (foods not being on that list :)

My Grandparents both maternal and paternal have helped me develop loves for things I otherwise would never have tried before. They gave me the chance to grow and develop in different atmospheres and experience things as they were long ago. I love them for all they have done for me and for my cousins that are both older and younger than me.

Nothing can describe how much I still have to learn, and yet I know there is more for me to do. My role models remind me to keep going on, I have not yet hit the point that I cannot continue and with the help of my Father in Heaven I will never hit that point without a boosting hand to carry me over. We can all have the same strength. Our Savior has blessed us with His love and the Atonement to make all of this possible. We can do it. Do you think so?

I KNOW SO!!!!!
